Artist Tips for Mixing Violet
Many of us were taught as children that red and yellow make orange, yellow and blue make green, and blue and red make violet. It sounds easy, and this is true to a certain extent. But many beginning artists have discovered that mixing a true purple or vivid violet can be a little more complicated than simply combining a red paint with a blue paint.
