Color mixing guide
The Sketching Stuff Coloring Set is a delightful collection of 12 non-toxic colors curated by Charlie O’Shields, creator of Doodlewash®, author of Sketching Stuff™ books, and founder of World Watercolor Month in July. Charlie believes that we were all born naturally talented and creative, and he gleefully invites everyone to create like a kid again!
Based on color theory, Charlie's Sketching Stuff watercolor palette contains 3 reds, 3 yellows, 3 blues which include a sample dot of Charlie's customized color, Charlie O'Blue, and 3 secondary colors that can be used individually or mixed quickly and easily to create a rainbow of different colors. Charlie has created more than 2,000 watercolor illustrations using only this simple 12-color system and shares bi-weekly creative exercises via his newsletter at SketchingStuff.com.
