Da Vinci New Gold artist oil is a light, russet orange with amber topnotes and clear golden undertones. New Gold has a wonderful ability to add luminosity to a painting in glazes and mixes, and when tinted or shaded, New Gold transforms into an extensive selection of butterscotches, bronzes, and browns.
New Gold is excellent for enhancing skin tones, or use New Gold to create a landscape painter’s dream palette of earths, oranges, greens, and darks. Add white to the mixes to soften New Gold into a rich assortment of golds, ochres, olives, and green golds.
