Although Magenta Rose is visibly cool in masstone, tints, and washes, this color is often considered a true primary magenta and works extremely well in a palette alongside a primary blue and yellow.
Magenta Rose is extremely useful for mixing strikingly bold and clean colors like violets, peaches, oranges, and golds, but this color also combines very well with granulating and opaque colors and will easily create earthy oranges and rusty reds along with muted violets and blues. Pair Magenta Rose alongside Viridian or Phthalo Green or even a yellow-green to create contrast in a painting, or mix Magenta Rose with green to obtain a beautiful assortment of deeper greens, violets, blues, and more.
