Da Vinci Hansa Yellow Medium artist oil is a single-pigment yellow with the warmth of sunshine, yet this color will often emit cool undertones, especially in glazes. With moderate tinting strength and a combination of warm and cool factors, Hansa Yellow Medium makes an excellent primary yellow in a palette.
When tinted with white, Da Vinci Hansa Yellow Medium turns to soft shades of buttery yellows, or mix with grays and black to produce a range of warm greens. Hansa Yellow Medium is very adaptable and will also mix a beautiful assortment of secondary and tertiary colors and is especially useful for maintaining transparency in mixes.
