Da Vinci Perylene Green artist watercolor is a single-pigment dark green color that grows more transparent in dilution without losing intensity. Highly saturated yet rarely overpowering, Perylene Green is wonderful for painting distant mountains and tree lines or misty hollows and woodland shadows, and it’s a true color for capturing towering evergreens.
Perylene Green is actually crafted from a black pigment and can be used to mix a range of darks and neutrals, from cool to warm, and will morph into a gorgeous greenish-gray when mixed with white. Blend Da Vinci Perylene Green with cool or warm yellows to obtain a wide range natural greens, or use it to deepen magentas to deep violets and blues into dark denims and teals.
